International Scottish Singer , Songwriter and musician Stevie Connor is a much sought after performer, being featured on Celtic Music Radio Stations around the world, he is a seasoned performer on TV and Radio, as well as being called on as a session musician..... Multi talented and Multi Instrumentalist Stevie has a unique blend of Traditional and contemporary Celtic , Folk and Roots Music and songs, with tunes on the whistle and The Great Highland Bagpipes.His Solo debut CD was reviewed with much acclaim in his homeland, receiving national airplay. He has recently been featured on Toronto TV on CP24 for the International Tartan Day Celebrations - of which WeeDan Music was an official supporter
Stevie has recorded or contributed to more than a dozen albums in the past decade,the most recent being in 2012 for Michael Theodore's new release ' Leaving Familiar ' recorded at # 9 Studios in Toronto, he has been commissioned to write material that has been published and displayed all over the world.... he has written music for other artists which have been recorded by them...tracks for ' Wolfstone' on their album ' The Chase' and Dougie Pincock on his album ' A Gem so Small' , to name but two , he has many bagpipe compositions which have featured on radio broadcasts and have been published and performed by Pipers and Pipe bands worldwide.
He was a member of The Lothian and Borders Police Pipe Band for eleven years touring worldwide with them, he has also played with the City of Glasgow Pipe Band, The Scottish Gas Pipe Band all in Scotland and The Carnegie Mellon University Pipe Band in Pennsylvania USA ....in his time he has played alongside Iain McInnes ( The Tannahill Weavers ), Dougie Pincock ( The Battlefield Band and Wolfstone ), Mike Katz ( The Battlefield Band ), the late Gordon Duncan ( The Dougie MacLean Band ) and The late Legendary Pipe Major Alasdair Gillies

The Show
Stevie plays music from all over the world, music of great diversity be it contemporary or traditional Celtic, Folk and Roots by artists from Scotland, England, Ireland, Galicia and Brittany in Europe to Americana, Bluegrass and Folk from North America and Canada. A great deal of the show features independent artists with brand new releases and he has guest interviews with artists and bands from all across the spectrum and beyond. Stevie has garnered a great listenership from across the globe and has a long list of artists ready to visit ' The Hoose ' and talk about their music.
